The pattern had been in print for some time and no one had complained. So I shut up and got on with my quilt. Eventually she said "yes" ther was a mistake, despite all her pattern editors.
I still haven't finished that quilt I have to say (another UFO)apiecefullifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12126718729447639590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-663281872932833219.post-4873116337755442702012-07-31T08:06:53.754-06:002012-07-31T08:06:53.754-06:00I had a similar experience, but with a vintage rep...I had a similar experience, but with a vintage reproduction Sack Suit pattern. I called the company that sold it to me and they proceeded to tell me I didn't know how to sew! Now, I don't think I am the best there is, but I HAVE done my fair share of sewing! The pattern pieces were on paper and I think were distorted in the copying process--they were up to 3" off in places. Needless to say, they didn't listen, and I didn't ever buy from them again!!!
I'm glad that Simplicity has such great customer service! And I agree, sometimes the instructions aren't written by a seamstress! lolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
